Dear Road Safety Officers application user,
You would have received an email from us last week about the new and more secure way to sign-in to the Road Safety Officers application.
Registrations are now open for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
What are the changes?
As part of our ongoing focus on cyber security, MFA will be used to sign-in to Road Safety Officers application.
MFA is an effective way to protect your valuable information and accounts against unauthorised access. It requires two proofs of identity to sign-in, e.g., user ID/password together with a notification sent to the Microsoft Authenticator app or a one-time code sent via SMS to your mobile.
Note: Transport will not store your mobile number if you choose SMS as the second authentication method.
Follow the instructions below to register yourself for multi-factor authentication right away.
Step 1 – Set up Multi-Factor Authentication
Click Start Registration below and follow the prompts to set up multi-factor authentication.
Once completed, you will be redirected to the OOHW application system home page.
Please note, if you have already set up MFA, upon clicking ‘Start Registration’ you will be prompted to choose an account. Based on your MFA set up, you will then receive a code on Microsoft Authenticator App or an SMS on your registered mobile number. Once successfully authenticated, you will be redirected to the application homepage
Step 2 – log in via new link
Once you complete the MFA registration,
use this new link to log-in to the application. This new link will ensure you are logging-in with the security of MFA.
Replace any saved application log-in links in your favourites or on your desktop, with the new link above.
