Whats new?

A list of new enhancements has been implemented into the Speed Management application recently, which includes the following key enhancements:
- Renamed Application from Speedlink2 (SL2) to Speed Management Portal (SMP), Suggestion to Preliminary Review, Review to Comprehensive Review.
- Easier navigation through tabbed view rather than linear pages
- Included new Crash and Precinct Layers
- Crash Data Analysis Report automatically created
- Built in Crash Rate and Crash Risk Rating calculations
- Additional analysis details to align with new Speed Zone Guidelines Standard
- Included Movement & Place characteristics, Road Characteristics tabs for Traffic & Site Analysis
- Included Community & Stakeholder engagement related details
- Updated application & pdfs based on new NSW branding framework.
- Allowed to edit the review case details at later stages
- Modified Approval Memo screen and the PDF to update the memo for any changes during Recommendation stage.
- Updated the Inflight below cases to new screen design format, other statuses are left in the old screen format.
- Preliminary Review - New status
- Comprehensive Review - New, Pending-Analysis, Pending-MemoGen, Pending-Recommendations status
Changes to permanent speed limits
Changes to permanent speed limits via website are scheduled to occur fortnightly.
